National programs in France

France's energy policies must support sustainable energy independence and secure the nation's energy supply. These policies must include mechanisms to structure emerging industries and orient research strategies so that all socioeconomic stakeholders benefit and jobs are added to the economy.

The French government consults with Liten on research and innovation through national policymaking bodies like the Industry-specific Policy Committees. Liten is also active in other organizations like SER, AFHYPAC, AFELIM, AMORCE, and COMES, as well as in technology clusters like AXELERATENERRDIS, and PLASTIPOLIS.

Finally, for hydrogen and other technologies of the future to become industrially viable, Liten experts are involved in working groups run by French standards organization AFNOR.

Liten is a uniting force in research partnerships involving a wide range of stakeholders in the energy transition. The institute is engaged in many research projects that have been awarded government funding.
